Everyday AI Dataiku Conference with Venezolanas in Tech NGO

In December 2022, I had the pleasure of attending the Everyday AI Dataiku conference in Miami, FL, and gained valuable insights.
Here are a few key takeaways:
I learned how Dataiku helps to systematize data processes through talks and networking sessions. I connected with Dataiku's multinational partners and national customers such as Raken Data Group and Perdue Farms, and was able to actively engage in workshops and projects using their Data Science Studio (DSS) platform.
Additionally, I discovered that Dataiku offers learning paths to certifications. Through tutorials, I not only learned about data transformations, flows, joining datasets, dashboards, visualizations, recipes, and schemas, but I also had the opportunity to practice consistently and quiz myself along the way. In fact, I recently received my first certification as a Core Designer from Dataiku.
I thoroughly enjoyed networking with professionals working at companies from the Dataiku partners ecosystem, such as Snowflake and phData. It was a great opportunity to learn from their expertise, share experiences, and even exchange recommendations for some of the best food places in Miami.
2022 SHPE National Convention

In November 2022, I attended the SHPE National Convention for the first time in Charlotte, NC. I gained a deeper understanding of SHPE at the national level and witnessed the commitment of industry leaders to help, support, and connect.
Meeting and connecting with SHPEtinas, women Latinas who have succeeded in their fields and were open about sharing their experiences, was one of the highlights of the convention.
Overall, the convention was a transformative experience that allowed me to share my enthusiasm, energy, and passion. The fast-paced and complex environment challenged me to think on my feet, adapt consistently, and communicate effectively. Through interactions with industry leaders and peers, I continued to strengthen my communication and interpersonal skills.

Learning English in Chicago - International Student
In 2014, I immersed myself in American culture and learned a new language with Kaplan International School. It was an eye-opening experience where I connected with peers from over 50 countries, supporting and empowering each other's growth while enjoying the artistic city of Chicago.
During that time, I continued developing my communication skills and actively collaborated on team projects with people from diverse backgrounds. I also grew in adaptability, open-mindedness, and self-motivation, while learning the value of creativity, cross-cultural collaboration, and learning from others.
